Attention: Job Applicant Scam

Venn Therapeutics has became aware of a scam targeting individuals seeking employment with our company. This scam involves perpetrators posting fictitious job opportunities on various job boards for remote jobs like “Administrative Assistant”, “Customer Service”, “Virtual Assistant” and “Virtual Data Entry Associate”.
Candidates are contacted through email and interviewed through Skype, Microsoft Team App or other similar communications platforms. Candidates then receive fake job offers from people posing to employees of Venn Therapeutics. Please note, these perpetrators are mailing checks and instructing candidates to purchase office equipment. Candidates are then instructed to wire an amount back. After the candidates send the money back, the candidates learn the checks sent to were bad.

Banking and Check Information
Venn Therapeutics will never ask candidates for bank information during the interview process. Venn Therapeutics will never send a check to a job candidate to make purchases. Venn Therapeutics will also never require candidates to send a wire transfer.
